Girly Girl

This little girl is SUCH a girl. I put her hair in sponge curlers for Easter. She was so obsessed with the curlers, that she went to bed with her little mirror in the bed so she could keep looking at herself. She is so funny! She loves painting her nails, she loves getting into my makeup, jewelry, and shoes, and she loves all things girl. She is the girl I always wanted and that I'm so grateful to have!

Knox & Balls!

Knox loves loves loves any kind of ball. Give him a ball, and it solves all problems. I caught him practicing by himself recently. He fills us with so much joy, I can't even describe it. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to explode. Seriously!

Easter Sunday!

I love this time of year. Spring is my favorite season. Not only is everything coming back to life and blooming, but we get to celebrate the *fact* that our Savior was resurrected. He is risen, and I am so grateful for his sacrifice. I know because of him, we will one day live with our Heavenly Father again, and I will get to enjoy the blessings of my family for eternity.

We went to this spot last year for some Easter pictures, and I fell in love with the wildflowers. I hope to do this annually.

We each took turns with the camera. As I was going through the pictures that afternoon, I came across this first shot and could not stop laughing. Emerson was behind the camera, directing the shot, and we had NO IDEA Stone was right in front of us, photo bombing. He is seriously one hilarious kid. He keeps us entertained around the clock.
Here are a few shots from our little session. I love my family so much!

I am not a fan of posting pictures of myself (oh who am I kidding, jk jk), but I must be documented on this blog, too, right?!

This is definitely not one I would typically post, but Cliff loves it...

We might have a ginger?!?!

Brotherly love...

The bond these two have is undeniable. It melts my heart. They are 5 years a part, and I think they will always be best buddies even though the gap is a bit stretched. Knox greets Stone every day as he gets off the bus. They run around in circles playing, they have races (and Stone lets him win). They jump on the trampoline together, and Stone makes him laugh all the time. Emerson also has a great bond with each of her brother's. Each bond between my children is unique, and very special. I just happened to catch this one with my phone, and wanted to describe it.

Trip to Delaware!

Jordan and Rachel just had their third baby (first girl!) at the beginning of the year. Knox and I got to make a trip out to Delaware to meet little Peyton and attend her blessing at church. She's a doll, and we had a blast spending time with my family. This little doll resembles my brother SO SO SO much.

T-ball & Soccer! OY!

It's a busy season! Stone begged to play both soccer AND t-ball this year. We caved, and told him this is the year to decide which one he enjoys more, and next spring, he chooses one. Surprisingly, we only have a couple baseball games that overlap with soccer practices, so I think we will live.

Cliff volunteered to coach t-ball this year, and Stone was STOKED when we told him. Cliff is all about football, so it's been a little adjustment, but he's an athlete and loves a good game of any sport.

Here's to a busy Spring!
