Cliff was talking politics the other night at dinner, and I told him he should go into them. He started laughing because he finds most politics a joke these days. He said, “No. Politics is just organized crime. Why would I choose to surround myself with the type of people I would fire if they worked for me?"(said sarcastically, of course. Or maybe not).
Depending on the office, I think he’d consider it one day despite his comments (that were made out of frustration).
When he was six years old, he was standing in line with his dad, and asked his dad, "Dad, George Bush [Sr.] says that he is not going to raise taxes, but everybody says that that is not true and that he has to. What do you think?"
The lady at the counter stood up to look over the counter to see who this little boy was. That, my friends, is my husband. He has always been so interested in politics. Be careful to get in a political discussion with him. He has no mercy. Very passionate. Just another reason why I love him.

Gosh, he probably knew more about politics when he was young than I do now! It's sad to admit, but I really haven't gotten involved, I need to do better. I know I'd vote for Cliff to go into office if he were runng though:-)
He would be great in public office. I've yet to disagree with him!

man oh man can i relate to this post! josh is the same way. i would vote for cliff, i can tell he is smart and understands the issues! i won't name any names but isn't it so frusterating right now with our current pres? ;)
