The time has finally come for Emerson to sport pigtails. Though tiny, they are pigtails. She is so stinkin' cute! We love her!
Below, is what many refer to as "The Brown Scowl". Apparently I have a very defined scowl when I'm either A)concentrating or B)disgusted. Cliff will sometimes take his finger and rub it down the center between my eyes when this happens. haha! Emerson had one as a new born, and I was afraid she'd get a permanent wrinkle, it was so pronounced. As Nena (my dad's mom) would sing, "Oh it's great to be a Brown! A Brown never frowns! He's never grumpy or gruff! He'll never bite off your head, 'till you wish you were dead! Oh it's great, I said it's great to be a Brown!". She married into the Brown family, and I think she was singing this sarcastically. :) And thus, the scowl has been passed down.

Tell her to stop growing so fast!! I haven't even met the cutie pie!! Love the scowl:)
So cute! I can totally imagine that scowl you are referring to! She definitely looks like you and your dad... she's a Brown for sure. And she's so BIG! She looks like a little girl, not a baby!
PS I would LOVE to make a valence for you... although I know you could totally do it- it isn't too complicated.
oh those piggytails made my day at the end of it!! she is so adorable, it takes me right back to coco's tinsy baby hair pigtails, their the sweetest!! And she looks a lot like Papa Dan in the last picture!! i wish we could get the cousins together, i know Chloe would be so adorable with Emerson. especially since she's been grabing my face a lot lately and saying "momma...i need a baby sister, i just do!" i ask: whats wrong with Tru? Chloe: i love baby Tru i just need a sis too MMMOOOOM!:) so it would be so fun to witness them adoring eachother:) love you guys.
I love her!
Haha...so dang cute! She reminds me so much of you at that age!!! Is that a hormonica she's holding? What a riot!
The pigtails are awesome!! You did a great job and she's adorable! The scowl adds to her beauty.
Oh my gosh, that is the cutest thing ever!!
She is adorable, and that takes skill on your part to get such little pigtails in. I love them. The scowl is great, I can definitely think of what yours looks like :-)
Too funny - and now I'm going to be watching for those scowls whenever I see a Brown!
