All fall, leading up to winter, I was so happy with our warm weather. Two days before Christmas, it was top down driving weather, short sleeves, and flip flops. Some people don't like that here. I, on the other hand, think this is in the top 10 why Texas rocks. However, I did joke around, saying, I'd love a white Christmas. Just snow for a few days, then I'd like to be back in the 70s. I guess I said that loud enough, because we DID have a white Christmas, and today, we ARE back in the 70s (tomorrow we're supposed to go back down to the 40s, but I'll take it).
Woke up to some frozen poinsettias...

....and the new trampoline covered in snow (with a bumper that the wind blew). This is how the kids played for the first time on the trampoline:
Stone running around in our backyard....
Got in a few snow ball fights....
And attempted a snow man a little late in the game when the snow was already melting. May not be like our Utah ones, but not too bad for a Texas snowman. Do you like Emerson's mouth full of stocking chocolate?
Emerson added some silly string for hair. A nice touch. :)
I've had a few white Christmases in Texas over the years, and I was grateful this was one. It was the perfect way to wrap up Christmas for the kiddos. They were in heaven.
