Stone has been asking for a new bike for quite a while. Emerson got a new one for her birthday, and his was about the same size. He looked like a circus bear on a little bike. We gave him certain jobs to do in addition to what is expected of him around the house, and he finally earned a new bike. He's been without training wheels since he was four, and it was time to move him on up. He rides his bike any chance he gets.
