Field Day!!

Stone has been "training" for field day for a couple months now. Field day is a big deal here in East Texas! I love it! We love athletics in general. It's so fun to watch our son in his element at school, around his friends, and doing his favorite things...running, racing, throwing, etc. 

He got 2nd place in the standing long jump, 3rd in the softball throw, and though he received a 2nd place ribbon for the 50 yard dash, Stone is certain he won. They were neck and neck, and we also think he deserves the blue, but regardless, he ran as fast as his little feet would take him, and he did awesome. He actually said, "Mom, do you sew??" To which I replied, "Not really, buddy." He wanted me to sew him a blue ribbon, because he truly feels like he was robbed and they handed him the wrong ribbon. Altogether, he did awesome! We were proud parents. He (and we!) were so exhausted after the fun morning. He is such an awesome kid, and I'm so glad he's mine.

Emerson asked to take her pons to cheer Stone on. Couldn't say no! She also takes these to every baseball game.
