Last year I wrote this post dedicated to our awesome moms. Today in church, as I listened to people talk about their mothers, I couldn't help but feel overwhelming gratitude for the mother I have, as well as my mother-in-law. My mom truly is my best friend, and I hope to be the mother she has always been to me. Not only is she an awesome mom, but she is SUCH a great grandma now, too. I love her SO much and I'm so glad to have her as my mom and my best friend. I'm trying to be the mom she has always been for us, but it's A LOT to live up to.

Next, I am so grateful for this lady:
...who is also an awesome grandma.
She raised my husband and she is the best mother-in-law EVER. I know I am a broken record, but I really could not have married into a better family. I love her so much. I feel so lucky to have awesome in-laws that are always there for us. Marcy, you did a fantastic job raising your son. Thank you for preparing him to be such an amazing husband and father. And thanks for passing on the Latin blood. Oooh la la. We love you!

It's so neat how close your mom and you are. I am sure she is impressed with what a good job you are doing following her example for Stone!
