I really have every intention of keeping this blog up to date like I did once upon a time, but we've pretty much been in and out of town all summer long. We finished up our last trip of the summer, so now I have no excuse.
We drove across the entire state of Texas {yes, AGAIN}, and stopped in our good ole' hometown of El Paso for a few days where I shot my last wedding of the summer (time to finally kick up my feet before baby arrives!). Cliff then flew back to Longview to work, and I drove (sans Cliff, keep in mind!) to Arizona for my cousin's wedding (really, she's like a sister). We had a blast in Arizona with my mom, Ray, Jordan, and all our fun cousins (more pictures on bachelorette shenanigans ahead).
So I guess I'll split it up a little bit, and start it off with our trek to an awesome park for some fishing.
It was oh so hot that morning, but my kids were in heaven. They don't even notice the heat. I used to say the Arizona heat (111 degrees, keep in mind) was refreshing compared to the humidity we deal with in East Texas, but I guess I have gotten used to the humidity (if that's possible), because the Arizona heat didn't feel as refreshing as I had remembered it. But it was fun, nonetheless!!
Of course Stone made the pole into a gun.
And so little sister copies...
The view was beautiful!
While Stone fished, Emerson threw hot dogs in for minnows (hot dogs was the bate, believe it or not, and Emerson had fun throwing them in).
It was HOT, but a fun time was had! The kids were in heaven.
