Knox V. 3.0

I sound like such a broken record as each birthday rolls around with each kid, and I say, "I can't believe he's already 3!!" But it's so true! I blink, and a year has gone by. I am truly loving life so much right now, that I just want to freeze time. I want to bottle all of this up and be able to re-live it anytime I want.
Knox has a special spirt about him. ...since the day he was born. The spirit was overwhelming in the hospital room as he entered the real world and took his first breath outside the womb. I'm not sure what it is, but one day we'll know, I'm certain.
He's so cuddly and just full of love. He shares kisses and hugs all day long. He really has such a sweet spirit. It is SO hard to get mad at this kid. We try to discipline him (and we do!), but it's HARD!

He's also very athletic and just loves, loves, loves balls. Soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, basketballs, bouncy balls, beach balls. Every. Single. Ball. He also loves balloons.
He loves oatmeal, cereal, chocolate, and cheese.
He sings the ABCs and counts.
He sings "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" every time Cruz starts crying.
Pretty much every day, we go for an afternoon drive, and he falls asleep. I then transport him to his bed, where he takes a long nap.

His favorite movie is Big Hero Six, and that was the theme of his birthday party. We saw it last Thanksgiving with Cliff's parents when they came to visit us. It was nap time, and we kept him up, hoping he'd fall asleep in the movies. Instead, he was on the EDGE OF HIS SEAT the ENTIRE movie. He loved it so much. From that day on, he was obsessed. The minute it came out, we bought it. He quotes the movie wonderfully, and we figured there wasn't anything he'd like more than a Baymax birthday party. We even had a Baymax cupcake cake.

My mom and Ray came to celebrate the boy at his fun birthday party. We love having them in town! We love when family comes to visit. We wish so badly we lived closer to family!

Knox, we love you so much!! Your such a special boy!!

Looking at Emerson in these pictures, you'd think it was her birthday all dressed up in her rockstar tutu, hehe. I pick my battles.

I blocked out our contact information, but I had to show the invitation. Knox still loves looking at it. I photoshopped his face onto Hero's, and he thinks it's the coolest thing.
