A while ago, we took matters into our own hands and cut Stone's curly mullet. I absolutely love his curls, but it was time to ditch the mullet. Well, we went out to lunch for Cliff's birthday on Monday, and spontaneously took Stone in to cure the hair falling over his ears and the random long pieces in the back. It was his first real haircut, and it was a traumatic experience.
At first, he loved the chair (seen below).
Then, he got a cool animal cape and toys, and so he was doing just fine (below).
It took him a while to calm down. Cliff took him out, and you could still hear him screaming. And then he was crying (but calm) the whole way home. Needless to say, he went down so easily for his afternoon nap.

Oh pitiful...cute, but pitiful! Those buzzers can be frightful! I wish I'd have been there to give him hugs and ice cream :)
I don't think I've seen him cry since he was ummmm, four months old. Seriously!
Man, that is traumatic! We don't even try to go to the place to cut it, but just do it ourselves in his high chair while he is watch a show. Works great everytime. I love all the pictueres, he's such a handsome little guy!
See! This is what I want to avoid! Thank you for the entertaining story, even if it was at Stone's expense. Poor little guy! Let me know how doing it at home goes. I am probably going to have to try pretty soon here. How did the haircut turn out?
