Flashback Friday: Valentines Day

Yikes, two flashback Fridays in a row. I slacked this week in blogging. I actually just got back in town from a business trip to Tennessee, so it's now time to play catch up on the blog.

I've mentioned it several times before, so it's no suprise that I a) have the best in-laws EVER and b) have the most romantic husband EVER.

While Cliff was on his mission, Valentines Day approached and I raked in the Valentines gifts from him. He just didn't know it. That morning, Marcy (Cliff's mom) came over with chocolates, perfume, jewelry and flowers. Oh, and a card that said Happy Valentines Day from Cliff...just happened to be in Marcy's handwriting. She made sure I didn't forget about Cliff while he was gone on his mission (like I ever would/could). I wrote Cliff a thank you note thanking him for his gifts that he didn't even know he had given. :) Cliff actually made me the sweetest Valentines Day cards (home made) both years he was gone. For those unfamiliar with missions, they don't have contact with family and friends back home, except through letters.
