Happy Father's Day!

Oh blog, how I've neglected you! We are just too busy this summer, it seems like!

Before I catch you up on what we've been up to, I can't let this Father's Day weekend pass (oh wait, it's passed, oops) without giving a proper shout out to my fan-freakin'-tastic hubby who is also an awesome father. He recieved a grill for Father's Day, and with that, came the task of making his own Father's Day meal. I promise I'm a good wife, he wanted to do that with his new grill.


and can you tell that these two felt left out??
I'm so glad we're doing this parenting thing together. And of course, we have awesome fathers that we love greatly and appreciate all they've done for us.

And I want to give a shout out to the men I love! You all rock.

BFF, Sha-nay-nay played Easter Bunny just before the holiday rolled around. She surprised us with a DARLING dress for Emerson and an awesome tie for Stone. Isn't she sweet?! I heart my BFF, and we miss her! We hope to get her out here for a weekend this summer.

You know how they say the mechanic's car runs the worst? That's how I feel on snapping pics of my children! I don't take nearly as many pictures as I should, considering I am a photographer. So that is my excuse on the delay of pictures, Shannon.

I need to get more pictures of Stone in his sa-weet tie, but for now, here is one re-posted.



And here is my darling girl with the darling dress! Also let it be known, these pictures were taken today, and Emerson woke up with a fever early this morning. She had a quick, small, early breakfast, and went back to sleep until 2:30! She woke up for some lunch, and what girl doesn't feel better when you get all dressed up and go out?! Even if "out" is in our backyard. She enjoyed the fresh air, and now she is back sleeping. You can tell from her eyes that she's not feeling 100%, but she sure enjoyed soaking up some Vitamin D and breathing in some fresh air.
