Just a little update!

Every day my kids dress up as superheroes (and in Emerson's case, usually a princess of some sort). They take out bags of superhero (and princess) outfits and costumes to the trampoline every single day. They change into different superheroes, and act out whatever it is they are dressed as. These were all taken yesterday, just before Emerson snuck out the syrup, and poured it all over the trampoline, and then rubbed it in with her hands. Yes, I just said that. Snuck out syrup, poured it all over the trampoline, and rubbed it in with her hands. Just in case you didn't catch it the first time. I may have lacked patience when I found this, but just like Cliff said, by the end of the day, I was laughing about it. These kids keep me busy!

Caught Stone with his eyes half open...

And this little guy just got his FIRST TOOTH TODAY!! He is trying SO hard to crawl. He's rolling all over the place, using his hands like crazy. I guess you could say he turns 6 months tomorrow since there's no 30th (or 29th for that matter) in the month. I predict he will be crawling in the next couple of weeks. We go in for his well check tomorrow. Stats up next!

I love my life so much. These kids mean the world to me.

We don't get much snow in east Texas. It's so rare, that even though we had small flakes falling and instantly melting, we pulled over into a parking lot so the kids could catch some flakes on their tongues. Only in Texas. ...but we are proud Texans.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Life just couldn't get much better.

This year I had 4 special Valentines. The night before Valentine's day, we gave Stone and Emerson their Valentine's gift--a lava lamp for each of them. They were STOKED. They are so fascinated by them. Cliff has been wanting to get each of them one for a while. They were so full of gratitude. We got hugs and kisses and squeals. Who knew lava lamps would create such happiness, love, and gratitude? They woke up to some treats from us, heart shaped pancakes, and then off Stone and Cliff went to school and work, and Emerson, Knox, and I went to the gym for some Zumba.

The day was full of treats, good food, lots and lots of love, and a perfect evening for the hubby and me.

The kids' Valentines from last year's party were hits, so I replicated the idea for Stone to take to school this year. I didn't get a picture of the actual valentine, but this was the picture I took of him, then slipped a sucker through his hand. His teachers loved them and even hung them up in class. His smile melts my heart. We didn't do a playgroup Valentine's party this year, so I didn't make them for Emerson. Instead, she just got spoiled with treats from us.

Since this is the first year in school, I wasn't sure what to do when I read a note a few days before his class party, and realized we needed to make a Valentine's box. Since the kid is obsessed with superheroes, I decided it was the perfect theme. I wrapped a box in brown paper, printed off some vintage superhero images, and mod podged them on. He was thrilled with the outcome.

below: a couple goods from his box; glasses and a sucker. I must say; he makes those glasses look great!

This little girl was a hit everywhere we went. We went to lunch with Cliff, and every single person we passed had something to say to her. She was SO shy. Definitely doesn't get that from me! She buried her head into our legs when the compliments started.

I loved my 3 mini valentines, and of course, my man, who still makes my heart go pitter patter

We love Valentine's Day, and I LOVE my 4 Valentines.

oh my, baby Knox, how big you have gotten! He looks like a little giant baby!
